Born in Melbourne in 1959, the eldest of 7 children, I always felt that I was ‘a helper’.
My chosen fields of study were in the ‘helping professions’, beginning with completing my Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy in 1980. While working with outpatients at Dandenong Hospital with those suffering from severe anxiety disorders, I became aware of the amazing healing powers of relaxation therapy.
After my marriage breakup and the sudden death of my mother, my studies became more of a spiritual nature. After attending a spiritual meditation and psychic development group for some years, I went on to learn Reiki 1 and 2 and completed my Certificate IV in Health in Metaphysical Studies.
In 2005/2006, I studied and gained my Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy together with my Certificate IV in Health in Counselling and Conflict Resolution. In 2005, a fellow hypnotherapist introduced me to EFT and I subsequently completed Levels 1, 2 and 3 in Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and Intuitive Energy Psychology (IEP).
In 2009, I completed a course and case studies which gave me a Certificate in Advanced Hypnotherapy Techniques (focusing on Past Life Regression, Womb Regression and Regression to Spirit), through the Academy of Transformational Psychotherapy and the Holistic Healing Centre, New York.
In 2009/10, I completed the ‘Curriculum for Living’ and ‘Introduction Leaders Program’ with Landmark Education and continue to participate in courses from their Transformational Learning Programs.
In 2009, I also became a Matrix Re-imprinting (see Links Page) Practitioner, training with EFT Master, Karl Dawson from the UK, and have since used Matrix Re-imprinting with amazing results.
In 2009, I was also invited to become listed on the “Iraq Stress Project” Website (see Links Page) by Dawson Church PhD, as I effectively use EFT to treat Veterans with PTSD for little or no charge.
In 2010, I learned ‘Faster EFT’ with Robert Smith from Oklahoma and combine EFT, Matrix and Faster EFT with NLP and hypnosis in my client sessions, according to what is most suitable for their needs.
Background and Training
I was privileged to be invited by Dawson Church from EFT Universe (see Links Page), to be part of the first EFT Universe Trainer’s Training in Santa Rosa in Dec 2010 and I am now the first qualified EFT Universe Trainer in the Southern Hemisphere. This was an ‘invite only’ Training and I was the only EFT Practitioner from the Southern Hemisphere who attended.
Interests/ Passions
I have a strong sense of spirituality and of being aware of who I really am and continually strive to raise my own consciousness and help others to discover themselves.
I endeavour to inspire, touch and move people around me so that they can become whatever they desire and see the possibilities that are available to them when they remove what holds them back.
My passion, as part of a group of professional people who practice energy psychology methods such as EFT and Matrix Re-imprinting, is to bring these methods into the light of mainstream programs such as PTSD Programs run by the Government for War Related PTSD.
